Dwarf Dissatisfied With Leafy Dyke
I am writing to complain about a hedge in the park, specifically the one surrounding the bandstand. As a three and a half foot, subnormal pensioner, I was outraged when I went to see the 'gig in the park' only to find that, from where I sat, the offending hedge which towered at least six foot high, blocked my view.
I could have moved further up the slope, but my aging belligerence and pomposity stopped me. Instead I stayed where I was and complained loudly to myself. I would therefore request that the parks department either trim the hedge down to three foot, or tear down the bandstand and replace it with a statue of a proper musician like Buddy Rich.

Give Me Back My Rights
I believe that the Council has gone too far with the restrictions in human rights… to get to my house from the park I have to take a one and a half mile detour… from the park exit on Greengate Street I can see my house less than twenty yards away, however I have to turn left onto Greengate St, then left onto Park Drive, left onto Abbey Rd, left onto Park Ave and finally left back onto Greengate St…
I think we need a few more rights left in our lives.

One Way Emlyn Hughes
I just wanted to say that I find the new 'Emlyn Hughes' building a joy to look at. Its so modern & sterile. Its fantastic lack of character makes it look like so many other buildings in every other non descript town in the country. I cant even remember what the grand Art Deco 'Astra' looked like now.
I'm also certain that the new '1 way' system is going to be a massive help to the infrastructure of the town - we need one road into town to deliver 'Homebargains' style 'Tat' (and the McDonalds food aid trucks) and another for all the wealthy American tourists to use on their way to the lakes from the international 'Port of Barrow'.
Good on you Barrow. Who knows - in a few years we could be living in the new 'Stevenage'. Heres hoping.

Park Pleasure
I recently had chance to find myself in Barrow Park. Walking around I noticed the cleanliness of the family friendly areas. However the occassion was slightly tarnished by the large group OAPs gathering around the bowling green. Their language was rather blue and their manner aggressive. I conceed that my nakedness might have seemed a little out of the ordinary, but being made to carry a bowl, in a rather awkward place, all the way to the car seemed a little over the top.
Our Glorious Leaders should do something about this rowdy bunch.

I Am Not Happy
That is right, I am not happy with the pavements that haven't been built yet. There is a distinct lack of pavement in my house and I find myself walking along the edge of the rooms for fear of passing motorists. What steps will our Glorious Leaders put in place to remedy this?
